Lending #TWO Hands empowers incarcerated, formerly incarcerated African Americans and the unhoused through housing and educational resources — building a better Sacramento, one life at a time.
Lending #TWO Hands is a volunteer-driven, Sacramento-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering vulnerable community members by providing basic needs and individualized support. We serve those facing the steepest barriers — formerly incarcerated individuals, the unhoused, and families in crisis — with practical resources and unwavering advocacy.
Founded by Lawonna Donaldson, our organization operates on a simple belief: every person deserves a hand to hold and a path forward, regardless of where they've been.
